AC Volt Amp and BTUs for MMAC-5 and MMAC-8 Hub Products

About Power Requirements and BTU
To calculate the total Volt Amps or BTUs/Hr for a complete MMAC hub:

  1. Add the listed values from Table 1 for "Media Interface Modules", Table 2 for each "Plug In Modules", and Table 3 for each "Hub Components" in the configuration.
  2. Add 12 Volt Amps and 40 BTUs for every transceiver connected to any AUI port of any board installed in the hub.
  3. Do not add for MPIMs, SPIMs, as these are included in the measurements for all boards where applicable.
