SecureStack B3はスタッカブル スイッチとしてこれまでにない高ポート密度を誇り、小規模な構成から始めて将来にわたって拡張し続けることができます。また、Secure Networksカンパニーとしてエンテラシス・ネットワークスが誇る多数の機能を利用するためのライセンス アップグレードを通じて、既存のスイッチをEnterasys 768 Secure Networkにアップグレードすることも可能です。Enterasys Secure Networksはロール ベースのセキュリティ アーキテクチャであり、きめの細かいネットワーク上のロールをすべてのユーザに容易に割り当てることができます。SecureStack B3は、スイッチまたはスタックあたり最大768個のポリシー ルールをサポートします。ネットワークでの認証後 (802.1X、MAC、またはオプションのWeb認証を使用)、ユーザは個々のロールのルールに従って制御されます。 SecureStack B3は、きわめてパフォーマンスの高いスイッチング ネットワークを低コストで構築します。B3スイッチ ファミリは、先進のレイヤ2+スイッチングを提供すると共に、単一のスタックで最大384個の10/100/1000ポートおよび最大32個のギガビット アップリンク ポートを実現します。SecureStack B3にはPoE機能を備えた24ポートおよび48ポートのバージョンがあり、拡張性と柔軟性にも優れています。ユーザの投資保護を重視するエンテラシスの伝統を受け継いだSecureStack B3は、既存のB2スイッチとの完全な相互運用とスタッキングが可能です
