NetSight Inventory Manager

システムレベルのインベントリ・設定変更管理ツール

マルチデバイス管理アプリケーションであるNetSight Inventory Managerは、システムレベルのファームウェア、設定、ハードウェアのカタログ情報を提供します。これによってネットワーク管理者は、エンテラシス ネットワークを構成するコンポーネントや設定のリスト作成と変更管理が行えます。NetSight Inventory Managerを導入することで、エンテラシス ハードウェアの優れた機能性を最大限に引き出し、エンテラシス インフラに含まれる全コンポーネントを単一のシステムとして統合的に管理できほか、データ収集および履歴情報レポートを行うための一元的な中央データベースの運用が可能となります。

エンテラシス ネットワーク デバイスの設定保存/リストア機能をNetSight Inventory Managerに組み込まれた変更管理機能と結合することで、ネットワーク設定をトラッキングできます。他に例を見ないこうした変更トラッキングの原理を通じて、Inventory Managerは他のNetSightアプリケーション、サードパーティ製の管理アプリケーション、ローカル コンソール (CLI) 接続によって施された設定変更を、単一のインタフェースでトラッキングできます。さらに、Inventory Managerはシャーシ モジュールやそれに装着されたドーターカードの追加、取り外し、移動もトラッキングします。また、固有のデバイス識別子を記録して、ネットワーク アップグレード、再設定、問題解決などのイベントの最中に行われるハードウェア モジュールやIPアドレスのスワップを検出、トラッキング、レポートします。

NetSight Inventory Manager は、Secure Networks™ インフラをコントロールするNetSightネットワーク管理システムの1つです。

  • インベントリ情報に加え、ファームウェアや設定の更新日時・ダウンロード成功/失敗などの詳細情報を履歴ログに保持
  • ファームウェアを、サポートする機器毎に統括管理
  • 単一または複数の機器のファームウェアを同時にアップグレード
  • 機器の設定情報をバックアップ・リストア、さらに障害時復旧
  • エンテラシス製品をタイプ・シリアル番号・アセットタグ情報・ファームウェア バージョン・CPUタイプ・CPUスピード・メモリ・ドータカードなどをもとにリストを作成
独自の変更履歴管理機能と監査
  • NetSightアプリケーション・サードパーティの管理アプリケーション・ローカル コンソールの統一インタフェースから行われた設定変更を追跡記録
  • 現在の設定を参照し、前回セーブした設定と比較することにより機器を監査

タスク スケジューラ

  • ファームウェア更新・設定のアップロード/ダウンロード・機器設定の監査・機器のリセット・ハードウェア アカウント管理の自動実行をスケジューリング
