Ontario Science Centre Deploys Enterasys Solution to Deliver Interactive Exhibits and Provide Secure Network Access to Employees

ANDOVER, MA-- October 17, 2006--Enterasys Networks®, the Secure Networks Company™, today announced that the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto has deployed a complete Enterasys Secure Network solution. The network, which delivers robust performance and unmatched security, supports the Centre as it provides the latest technology exhibits and hands-on learning opportunities to more than one million visitors each year. It also provides the Centre’s employees with secure network access as they perform their jobs.
As the most visited cultural institution in Canada, the Ontario Science Centre required a powerful network to accommodate current needs and future growth plans. Specifically, the Centre wanted a secure networking environment to provide employees with access to the information they need to do their jobs, while also supporting its many network-based exhibits, which change frequently throughout the year. The Ontario Science Centre network features Matrix N-Series switching at the core with 50 SecureStack C-Series switches at the network edge.
